CS: Initiative Tracker – Gamemaster Banners

Every Dungeon Master knows the moment.

„Which goblin is taking their turn now?“
„Is that the one with the bow, or the one next to the barbarian?“
„Wait, which token was number 3 again?“

While your players stare at the grid trying to figure out who’s who, you’re stuck playing memory games just to keep combat moving.

GM Banners solve that exact problem.

Designed specifically for running monsters and enemies, these banners feature a distinct monster icon on the players’ side and clear Roman numerals facing the DM. At a glance, you know exactly which specific creature’s turn is next—while keeping your players guessing about who is stepping up to strike. A simple, highly effective upgrade for running smoother, faster, and more suspenseful encounters.

Use GM Banners to:
– Distinguish individual monsters in swarms or groups without mixing up turns
– Keep track of specific enemy tactics (Monster I holds the front line, Monster II flanks)
– Maintain table mystery by revealing enemy identity only when you choose to
– Eliminate turn-order confusion for multi-enemy encounters
– Clear numbers for the DM. Suspense for the players

Set Contents:
– 8 double-sided, rewritable GM Banners (Monster Icon / Roman Numerals I–VIII)

Please note: GM Banners are designed as an expansion for the Initiative Tracker and cannot be used standalone.
